Phillies Charities 5K Sold Out for Third Consecutive Year

The Phillies Charities 5K has sold out less than eight hours after going on sale - with all 5,000 participant slots filled. This is the third consecutive time the event has sold out.
 
This year's USATF certified 5K (3.1 mile) race takes place on Saturday, March 23, 2013. The run starts and ends at Citizens Bank Park with a loop through the surrounding area. After crossing the finish line, participants will be able to enjoy a cool down lap around the warning track on the field (weather permitting).

New 2013 additions to the Phillies Charities 5K include an improved course, as well as surprise appearances by the Phillie Phanatic, live music and more.

"There is so much excitement for the return of the Phillies Charities 5K," said Mary Ann Moyer, Phillies Race Manager. "We look forward to seeing everyone at the starting line in just a few short weeks."
