Nationals trim Spring Training roster to 32

The Washington Nationals today optioned right-handed pitcher Cole Kimball to Syracuse of the Triple-A International League and re-assigned right-handed pitcher Jeremy Accardo to minor league camp. Earlier today, the Nationals agreed to terms with left-handed pitcher J.C. Romero on a minor league contract with an invitation to Major League Spring Training. Nationals Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Mike Rizzo made the announcements.

The Nationals currently have 32 players in their big league camp.
