Red Sox announce roster moves

The Red Sox today placed shortstop Stephen Drew on the seven-day concussion disabled list (retroactive to March 27), optioned right-handed pitcher Daniel Bard to Double-A Portland, and optioned first baseman Mauro Gomez to Triple-A Pawtucket.  The club also optioned infielder Brock Holt to Pawtucket following yesterday's game.  The announcements were made by Executive Vice President/General Manager Ben Cherington.

With the moves, the Red Sox now have 32 players in major league camp, including 28 players from the 40-man roster (one on the seven-day disabled list), one on the 60-day disabled list, and three non-roster invitees.
