Orioles finalize 25-man roster
Four on disabled list, one contract selected
The Orioles today announced that they have placed RHP STEVE JOHNSON (right lat strain), INF WILSON BETEMIT (right knee ligament sprain) and LHP TSUYOSHI WADA (left elbow surgery) on the disabled list. Wada is retroactive to March 22, Johnson is retroactive to March 23 and Betemit is retroactive to March 26.
The Orioles had previously placed RHP CHRIS TILLMAN on the disabled list with a left abdominal strain, retroactive to March 22.
The club has selected the contract of INF/OF STEVE PEARCE.
With these moves, the Orioles have finalized their 25-man roster and have a full 40-man roster. A three-column 25-man final roster is attached with this release.
