Indians make trio of roster moves

The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League roster:

Selected the contract of LHP DAVID HUFF from AAA Columbus.

Recalled RHP TREVOR BAUER from Columbus.

Optioned INF LONNIE CHISENHALL to AAA Columbus

Huff has gone 3-1 w/a 4.07ERA in 9 games/2 starts this year for the Clippers (24.1IP, 21H, 13R/11ER, 9BB, 28K, .223 AVG). Right-handed hitters are batting .200 (14-70, 0HR) off him and over his last 5 outings, all in relief, he has posted an ERA of 3.55 (12.2IP, 8H, 5ER, 14K).

Bauer has spent most of the season with Columbus, going 1-0 w/a 2.55 ERA in 4 starts (24.2IP, 15H, 7R/ER, 2HR, 10BB, 31K, .185AVG). He is making his third Major League start today in the second game of a doubleheader vs. the New York Yankees, his first career outing vs. New York-AL. He is 1-1 w/a 2.70 ERA in the previous two starts with Cleveland (10.0IP, 3H, 3R/ER, 13BB, 7K, .097AVG). Bauer is the 26th man for today's DH.

Chisenhall hit .213 (20-94) with 4 2B, 3HR & 11RBI in 26 games with Cleveland prior to today's transaction.
