White Sox to open first of its kind "#SoxSocial Lounge" at ballpark

CHICAGO - The Chicago White Sox will open the "#SoxSocial Lounge," a special social media lounge for fans at U.S. Cellular Field, on Monday, May 20 - the very first of its kind in Major League Baseball. The new lounge's opening will coincide with the second of six scheduled #SoxSocial games for the season - the latest date highlighting Instagram.

The #SoxSocial Lounge, located behind section 154, will be a place for White Sox fans to go to connect with the team - on and off the field. The lounge will feature multiple televisions, many streaming White Sox social media content, while others display the game telecast. The Lounge will have mobile phone charging stations, and a lounge atmosphere for fans to sit and relax. During the season, the #SoxSocial Lounge will host special celebrity guests and various interactive contests before and during home games.

White Sox fans will have the opportunity visit the #SoxSocial Lounge when gates open at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 20, when the team is scheduled to play Boston (7:10 p.m.) at U.S. Cellular Field. 

Fans can purchase tickets for second #SoxSocial game at whitesox.com/soxsocial. Tickets are $21 for an outfield reserve ticket (regularly $29) with the option to buy a Party Patio ticket for $21 (regularly $42). The first 500 individuals to purchase a #SoxSocial ticket will receive a t-shirt.

#SoxSocial Night will feature a photo opportunity with Chicago's very own @Manny_The_Frenchie. Manny is the world's most followed French Bulldog with nearly 175,000 followers on Instagram. Manny will be posing for photos in the #SoxSocial Lounge from 5:30 p.m. through the top of the third inning.

Additionally, fans will have the chance to participate in contests throughout the game to win autographed items and ballpark food.
