Giants welcome Nationals and Rockies to town

Homestand features: 20th Anniversary of Until There's a Cure Night, Fireworks Night and Barry Zito bobbleheads

SAN FRANCISCO, CA. - The World Champion San Francisco Giants return to AT&T Park for a six-game homestand against the Washington Nationals, May 20-22 and the Colorado Rockies, May 24-26.

On Monday, May 20, the Giants will host their first ever Pixar Night at AT&T Park. Special event ticket holders will be able to attend the Pixar pre-game party in Seals Plaza from 5-7 p.m. and will also receive a Pixar-themed Giants t-shirt. Characters from the soon-to-be released Monster's University will be in attendance and video highlights from Ryan Vogelsong's visit to Pixar Studios will be featured on the scoreboard. Pixar's Chief Creative Officer, John Lasseter, will be in attendance to throw out the First Pitch.

Tuesday, May 21, is the Giants 20th anniversary of Until There's a Cure Night, presented by Gilead and the Giants Community Fund. To commemorate this historic partnership that for the first-time ever brought together a professional sports team and a foundation to help end HIV/AIDS, the Until There's A Cure Foundation®, the Giants will hold a home plate ceremony looking back on 20 years of education and awareness highlighted by the support of many Giants players throughout the years. Giants closer Rod Beck was one of the first professional athletes to embrace the cause and lend his support to finding a cure for HIV and AIDS. His wife, Stacey, and daughters, Kayla and Kelsey, will participate in the night's events. Fans who purchase a special event ticket for UTAC Night will receive a collector's edition Rod Beck bobblehead. They can also support the cause, by purchasing UTAC bracelets and t-shirts on sale throughout the ballpark on this night and buy raffle tickets at the Giants Community Clubhouse or from volunteers throughout the park to win a number of unique raffle items.

It is also Say Hey Tuesday as CSN Bay Area will host Chronicle Live from Willie Mays Plaza. Fans are invited to come out early and watch their favorite sports analysts.

The Giants wrap up their homestand with a three-game series against the Colorado Rockies, May 24-26. On Friday, May 24, fans are invited to stay after the game to enjoy Fireworks Night at AT&T Park.

Saturday, May 25, the first 20,000 fans will receive a Giants World Champions Cap, presented by Dignity Health.

It is also KNBR's Weekends in the Park on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26. Marty Lurie and Patrick Connor will broadcast live from the patio at Public House, leading up to Giants Pregame Show on KNBR 680.

On Sunday, May 26, the first 40,000 fans will receive a Barry Zito Bobblehead, presented by Bank of America. In honor of our military on this Memorial Day weekend, Sunday is Salute to the Military Day in which the Giants and Bank of America will pay tribute to the military service men and women who have served our country. The Giants will also be joined by community partners, Strikeouts for Troops, Operation Care & Comfort and NCIRE, The Veterans Health Research Institute, who provide support and essential services to our military personnel.

Following the game on Sunday, all kids 14-years and younger are invited to come run the bases, presented by See's Candies.
