Blue Jays recall Gose

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have recalled OF ANTHONY GOSE from Buffalo of the International League (AAA). RHP MICKEY STOREY has been optioned to Buffalo.

GOSE, 22, has spent all of 2013 with Buffalo, posting a .227 average and a .343 OBP, along with five doubles, two triples, two home runs and five stolen bases. The 6-1, 195 pound, left-handed hitter made his Major League debut last season with Toronto, appearing in 56 games, batting .223 with one home run, 11 RBI and 15 stolen bases. The Paramount, California native has hit .261 over six minor league seasons, adding 233 stolen bases in 551 games.

STOREY, 27, appeared in two games for Toronto since joining the club on May 9. The 6-1, 185 pound, right-hander allowed three runs in 3.2 innings along with six hits, one walk and five strikeouts. Storey returns to Buffalo, where he has posted a 3.63 ERA in nine outings.
