Mariners Recall RHP Blake Beavan from AAA Tacoma

SEATTLE, Wash. -- Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager Jack Zduriencik announced today the following roster moves:

• Blake Beavan, RHP, recalled from AAA Tacoma
• Hector Noesi, RHP, optioned to AAA Tacoma (post-game 6/5)

Beavan (#49) will be in uniform and available for tonight's 7:10 p.m. game vs. the New York Yankees at Safeco Field.

Beavan, 24, was 3-2 with a 4.91 ERA (20 ER, 36.2 IP) in 7 starts with the AAA Tacoma Rainiers. He began the season with the Mariners going 0-1, 8.27 ERA (19 ER, 20.2 IP) in 7 appearances (2 GS) until being optioned to Tacoma on May 1.

Noesi, 26, recorded the loss in yesterday's 7-5 loss in 16 innings allowing 7 hits and 3 runs in 3.0 innings. In 7 appearances (1 GS) with the Mariners he went 0-1 with a 4.74 ERA (10 ER, 19.0 IP).
