Padres host Braves and Diamondbacks June 10-16

Highlighted by Retro Night celebrating the 1998 NL Championship team & Summer Sky Blast

The Padres return home Monday for the sixth homestand of the 2013 season, featuring three games against the Atlanta Braves, followed by a weekend series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Highlights of the homestand include Retro Night, celebrating the 1998 National League Championship team and Summer Sky Blast.

Home action begins tonight, with a 7:10 p.m. start against the Braves. Prior to the game, the Padres will honor the Padres Foundation's featured homestand charity partners, Rolling Readers and United through Reading.

Singer/songwriter Shyan Selah will perform the National Anthem on Tuesday, while US Navy Petty Officer Michelle Ramiro will perform the National Anthem on Wednesday.

Friday marks the second Retro Night of the season, celebrating the 1998 National League Championship Team. Padres players will wear the 1998 alternate blue uniform, and more than 15 members of the '98 team are scheduled to take part in the celebration, which includes a pregame ceremony and in-game tributes. The '98 alumni also will be signing autographs for Padres fans at Park at the Park from approximately 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. All fans with tickets to the game are welcome. As part of the special pregame ceremony, Anisha Gwynn Jones, daughter of Tony Gwynn, will perform the National Anthem on Friday.

In honor of Retro Night, the Padres game broadcasts on Friday will feature familiar voices from 1998. Former Padres TV broadcaster Mel Proctor will join Mark Grant in the FOX Sports San Diego booth on Friday, while radio personality Bob Chandler will join Ted Leitner and Jerry Coleman on the Mighty 1090 broadcast. 

Please note the special 7:10 p.m. start time for Saturday's game. Following Saturday's game, fans are invited to stay to enjoy the biggest and longest fireworks display in Petco Park history! Padres Summer Sky Blast returns Saturday, lighting up the sky with launch points all over the ballpark. This year's show, celebrating 10 seasons at Petco Park, promises to be even bigger than last year's inaugural Summer Sky Blast.

Celebrate Father's Day with the Padres on Sunday! The series finale against the Diamondbacks marks Salute to the Military Child presented by Majestic. In recognition of our military families, pregame ceremonies will honor military children. Kids from the US Air Force, US Navy, US Marine Corps, US Coast Guard and US Army will line the bases and be recognized. Sunday's National Anthem will be performed by Jazmine Rogers, whose father, Maj. Jacques Rogers, has served in the Marine Corps for 16 years and has been deployed a total of six times, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. In addition, military children will participate in Military Take the Field.

Prior to all Sunday home games, fans with tickets are invited to enjoy Breakfast at the Park. Special breakfast menu items will be offered for purchase at Park at the Park. In addition to seating at the Park at the Park, tables may be set up on the warning track, allowing fans to dine on the Petco Park field. Field seating will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, barring batting practice. Select gates will open to Season Ticket Holders with reservations at 10:00 a.m. Gates will open to the general public at 10:30 a.m.

From 11:30 a.m. to noon, two Padres players will sign autographs at the Park at the Park for Jr. Padres Sunday Signings. A Jr. Padres membership is required to participate in the signing event. Membership is free, and kids can sign up online or in-person on the day of the event.

Following Sunday's game, as part of the Father's Day celebration, fans are invited stay and play catch on the outfield grass at Petco Park. Fans can enter the field from Park at the Park via the ramp near the Beachers in right field.
