White Sox recall Brian Omogrosso from Class AAA Charlotte

Prior to tonight's game at Kansas City, the Chicago White Sox recalled right-handed pitcher Brian Omogrosso from Class AAA Charlotte.

Omogrosso, 29, made 11 appearances during his first stint with the White Sox this season from May 1-June 6, going 0-1 with a 5.14 ERA (8 ER/14.0 IP) and 14 strikeouts.

Omogrosso also is 0-1 with a 4.91 ERA (8 ER/14.2 IP), two saves and 14 strikeouts in 10 games with the Knights in 2013.

The White Sox optioned right-hander Deunte Heath to Charlotte following yesterday's game at Minnesota.
