Pirates sign two more players from 2013 Draft
The Pittsburgh Pirates today signed the following players from the 2013 First-Year Player Draft. The announcement was made by Joe DelliCarri, Pirates Director of Scouting.

Was a 2013 Rawlings Northeast-All Region first-team selection and a 2012 Underclass Honorable Mention…Was named the third-best player in the state of Connecticut and second-best right-handed pitcher by Perfect Game.

Earned third-team All-Northeast-10 honors this year at the University of New Haven…Finished the season 4-3 with a 3.81
ERA and 60 strikeouts in 59.0 innings pitched…Made 11 appearances (eight starts) and threw one complete game …Also led the staff in strikeouts…After his freshman season in 2011, was named to the Northeast 10 Conference All-Rookie Team.
The Pirates have now signed 18 players from this year's draft.
