Beat The Streak In A Day sponsored by Dunkin' Donuts

Again. Only Today.

NEW YORK, June 28, 2013 - Remember September 28, 2012? MLB Advanced Media tried to give away its $5.6 million grand prize that day with a new edition of its popular, free-to-play fantasy baseball game, Beat The Streak In A Day.

The challenge: Succeed at going 57-for-57 in picking MLB players who will get a hit that day to break the legendary consecutive games hitting streak record.

The results: Thousands played that day. Many got within striking distance. But no grand prize winner. Again. $5.6MM stayed locked inside its vault. Again.

Even though no one has claimed the grand prize yet in 2013, Beat The Streak Sponsored by Dunkin' Donuts has had its success stories. A 45-game streak. Three other streaks over 40 games. A total of 26 streaks reached at least 35 games. The free mobile app, available for iPhone, iPod touch and Android, is accounting for more than half of the picks made.

Today, as the 2013 MLB regular season marks its halfway point, MLBAM again will deliver the opportunity to win $5.6MM in a single day.

How To Play Beat The Streak In A Day - June 28, 2013

Today, fans may pick 57 Major League players who they think may get a hit in a game. If anyone succeeds at going 57-for-57 with their picks, MLBAM will award that $5.6 million grand prize.

Fans may enter their own 57 picks to play or have MLBAM's statistical algorithms auto select 57 players from those hitters ranked among the top 150 in the game.
