Calling all bros! Indians, Nick Swisher expand 'Brohio' section, shirts to remaining Friday night home games

Limited quantity of shirts made popular by first baseman available with Friday night ticket purchase in Section 117 at Progressive Field

Fans interested in claiming their residency in "Brohio" at Progressive Field now have the chance on Fridays in Section 117.

Nick Swisher and the Indians will include "Brohio" shirts with the first 100 ticket purchases in Brohio - Section 117 - at remaining Friday night home games at Progressive Field. Pricing for the tickets will vary by game and tickets are available at www.indians.com/brohio

New Brohio tickets purchases are not available on July 5 and August 9 as the section is already nearly sold out, but fans holding tickets in section 117 for those dates can call Fan Services (216-420-HITS) and buy the t-shirt add on. The first 100 fans holding a ticket in section 117 for each date to call Fan Services will receive the opportunity.

Swisher began wearing the shirts - with "Brohio" and aviator sunglasses on the front and "Sup, Bro?" on the back - around the Tribe clubhouse. Fans caught onto the shirts when Swisher wore it on MLB Network's "Intentional Talk" earlier this month with Chris Rose and Kevin Millar.

Now, some of Swisher's Indians teammates have jumped aboard: Outfielder Michael Brantley, a big Cleveland supporter, has worked the shirt into his Cleveland-centric attire, Scott Kazmir following his great pitching performance on June 26, while third baseman/designated hitter Mark Reynolds was seen sporting one during batting practice last weekend at Progressive Field.

Other teammates including Corey Kluber, Yan Gomes, Mike Aviles and Bryan Shaw also have sported them, and even local comedian Mike Polk Jr., who gave Swisher a friendship necklace in Goodyear, Ariz., during Spring Training, got one from Swisher as an appreciation of the duo's bro-ness.
