A's Recall RHP Dan Straily from Triple-A Sacramento

The Oakland A's recalled right-handed pitcher Dan Straily from Triple-A Sacramento, the club announced today.

Straily joins the A's for his fifth stint this year and is 6-2 with a 4.28 ERA in 14 starts. He made one start in each of first two stints, went 3-2 with a 4.69 ERA over a 10-start stretch from May 1 through June 23, and was 2-0 with a 0.68 ERA in two starts over his most recent stay from July 4 to 9. Straily currently has a career-high five-game winning streak as he is 5-0 with a 2.83 ERA over his last nine starts after starting the season 1-2 with a 7.27 ERA over his first five starts.. He had a no decision in his only outing with the River Cats following his most recent option, tossing 7.0 scoreless innings in Sacramento's 2-1, 10-inning win over Fresno last Sunday. Straily is 3-1 with a 1.14 ERA in five starts overall with the River Cats.
