Royals Host #RoyalsSocial Media Night On August 8
Special Ticket Package for Event Includes Pregame Social Hour Featuring Q&A with Jeremy Guthrie, Game Ticket, T-Shirt & More
KANSAS CITY, MO (August 2, 2013) - The Kansas City Royals and FOX Sports Kansas City announced today details on the team's #RoyalsSocial Media Night at Kauffman Stadium on Thursday, August 8.
Fans who follow the Royals official Twitter feed, @Royals, "like" the Royals official Facebook page at www.fb.com/royals or follow any of the official club social media accounts may purchase a special ticket package to watch the Royals take on the Boston Red Sox that evening at 7:10 p.m. The offer also includes entry into a special pregame social hour. Throughout the game, @Royals will encourage fans to use the Twitter-specific #RoyalsSocial hashtag. FOX Sports Kansas City will integrate tweets, posts and other activity into the Royals Live pregame show and the game telecast.
In addition, Royals pitcher Jeremy Guthrie (@TheRealJGuts) and FOX Sports Kansas City's Joel Goldberg (@goldbergkc) will participate in the question and answer session beginning at 5:45 p.m. in Rivals Sports Bar. Fans can submit questions to Guthrie and Goldberg via Twitter by using #RoyalsSocial.
