Texas Rangers host Milwaukee, Seattle, and Houston, August 13-21

Homestand features four promotional giveaways and Stoney LaRue post-game concert; Rangers to honor Ron Washington for becoming team's all-time wins leader on Tuesday

Arlington, Texas-The Texas Rangers open an eight-game homestand tomorrow night that features a two-game interleague series with the Milwaukee Brewers and three games each against a pair of A.L. West Division foes, the Seattle Mariners and Houston Astros.

On the homestand there will be four promotional giveaways, a Friday Fireworks night, and a post-game concert by Texas country artist Stoney LaRue.

Tickets for the upcoming homestand and all 2013 home games can be purchased at texasrangers.com, by calling 972.RANGERS, and at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington ticket office.

The homestand begins with two games against Milwaukee on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 13-14 at 7:05 p.m. On Tuesday, the first 30,000 fans will receive a Sweet Baby Ray's Rangers Beer Stein. The Rangers will also honor Ron Washington for becoming the team's all-time leader in wins for a manager. The Texas skipper recorded his 582nd victory at the helm on August 4 in Oakland to surpass Bobby Valentine. Nolan Ryan Beef Dollar Hot Wednesday and Dr Pepper Autograph Wednesday take place on August 14. Wednesday is also Japanese America Night with special pre-game ceremonies planned.

The Mariners make their final Arlington appearance of 2013 with 7:05 games on Friday and Saturday, August 16-17 and a 2:05 p.m. contest on Sunday, August 18. Post-game Friday Fireworks will be to music of Elvis Presley and the Wheeling Elvi will perform prior to the fireworks show to add to the festivities. On Saturday, the first 10,000 youngsters, 13 and under will receive a Chicken Express Wrestling Mask. Budweiser presents Stoney LaRue in Concert following the game with the Texas country artist performing on-field. The concert is free of charge to all fans holding game tickets that night and a limited number of field passes can be purchased for $10.00 at texasrangers.com or at the Rangers Ballpark ticket office. 

Also on August 17, Whataburger and the Rangers are teaming up to strike out hunger. Bring two non-perishable food items to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington on that night and receive a coupon good for a free Whataburger while supplies last. All donations will support the Tarrant Area Food Bank. Another kids giveaway takes place on Sunday when the first 10,000 fans 13 and under get a Dr Pepper/Albertsons Market Back to School Gym Bag.

The 2013 Lone Star Series continues with 7:05 p.m. games against the Astros on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, August 19-21. The first 30,000 fans receive a Smile Generation TEXAS Camo Cap on Tuesday night. Nolan Ryan Beef Dollar Hot Wednesday and Dr Pepper Autograph Wednesday take place again on August 21.
