Tuesday's Royals game sets another ratings record

Tuesday's extra-inning loss to Miami set a new record as the highest-rated Royals game on FOX Sports Kansas City.

Marlins-Royals averaged a 12.3 household rating, according to The Nielsen Co. It was the most-watched TV program of the day in the Kansas City market.

Tuesday's game peaked at a 15.6 rating (145,000 households) and 25 share.

Royals telecasts on FOX Sports Kansas City are averaging a 6.4 rating, up 65 percent over last year -- the biggest increase in MLB this season.
