Oakland A's Partner With Patriot Memory On Innovative In-Stadium Technology

Fans now able to charge mobile devices at O.co Coliseum for free without the use of power cords

The Oakland A's have partnered with Patriot Memory and FUEL+ mobile rechargeable batteries to offer fans the chance to charge their mobile devices, free of charge, at select A's games for the remainder of the 2013 regular season and postseason.

Fans will have the opportunity to charge smartphones and tablets in the Bar & Grille-located behind Section 217 at O.co Coliseum-in a fraction of the time it would take to plug in their devices. Patriot Memory, a global power in high-performance memory headquartered locally in Fremont, Calif., is featuring its new faster charging 2.5A FUEL+ mobile rechargeable batteries at the O.co Coliseum charging station. In addition, FUEL+ charging units will be provided to guests on the A's pre- and post-game radio shows.

"The A's are committed to providing the best possible in-stadium experience for our fans, and this partnership is another example of that commitment," said Ken Pries, vice president of communications and broadcasting for the A's. "We understand our fans' desire to stay connected, and the FUEL+ will ensure our fans maintain those connections without missing any of the action on the field."
