Taste of Target Field Food Truck hits the streets today

Twins and Delaware North Sportservice debut new food truck in downtown Minneapolis

The Minnesota Twins and Delaware North Sportservice have launched their new food truck, the "Taste of Target Field." The truck will make its debut today (Monday, August 26) at 11a.m. at 8th Street and Marquette Avenue in downtown Minneapolis.

"Since opening Target Field in 2010, the Twins and our partners Delaware North Sportservice have worked hard to ensure the food and beverage offerings at the ballpark are among the best in baseball," Twins President Dave St. Peter said. "With that mission in mind, the Taste of Target Field food truck is aimed at expanding the reach of those signature menu items across Twins Territory."

"We're excited to jump into the wildly popular food truck market here in the Twin Cities," said Pete Spike, General Manager of Delaware North Sportservice at Target Field. "We're now able to bring our delicious ballpark fare out into the community for everyone to taste and experience."

The truck features a variety of delicious ballpark fare including sausages from Kramarczuk's, nachos, hot dogs from Schweigert, chili from The Loon Café, a BBQ brisket sandwich, cheese curds as well as a variety of daily specials. The truck is also equipped with an audio and video system that will broadcast Twins games when possible.

Food truck aficionados can find information about the location of the truck as well as daily menus by following @TastyTwinsTruck on Twitter or by visiting www.twinsbaseball.com/tasty.
