D-backs to host '80s Night this Friday

PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks encourage fans to dress in their best '80s gear this Friday, Aug. 30 as the D-backs host '80s Night, including a '80s themed post-game Fireworks Spectacular, presented by Gila River Casinos.

Several '80s-era novelties will be on display, including the Robocop Police Car, Knight Rider Car and General Lee. In addition, several characters from the '80s will be on hand, including Star Wars characters, Batman and Robocop. The D-backs Rally-backs and in-game hosts will dress in their best '80s gear and player headshots will turn back time to 30 years ago.

Friday is also college night in which students with a valid college ID can get a $5 Infield Reserve seat ($16 value) or a lower-level ticket for just $15. Fans can purchase tickets by calling a D-backs representative at 602.514.8400 or online at www.dbacks.com.
