Joe Morgan's "Wine for One" now available at Great American Ball Park

Hall of Famer Joe Morgan has partnered with Steelhead Vineyards of Sonoma, CA to offer two wines in a revolutionary "wine for one" bottle and glass format.

And thanks to Morgan, fans can now enjoy the Chardonnay or Merlot while cheering on the Reds at Great American Ball Park.

The wines are served in a unique bottle and drinking vessel combination that was developed in New Zealand and features PET (plastic) bottle technology that preserves wine quality.

"I have a passion for good wine and during my Big Red Machine days I went to wine tastings on my off days," said Morgan. "The highlight of my wine career was making wine with an assist from Robert Mondavi. These super-premium wines are my contribution to an enhanced experience at Great American Ball Park."

The 6.3 oz. bottles sell for $10 and are available at concession stands around the ballpark and from vendors in the stands.

The Chardonnay is rich and refreshing with aromas and flavors of pear, citrus and a hint of peach.

The Merlot has ripe Bing cherry and red rose petals aromas that lead to a vibrant, balanced acidity and velvety richness.

"What you eat and drink at Great American Ball Park-and how it's served-has become a major part of the fan experience," said Lauren Werner, Reds Vice President of Event Services and Merchandising. "Thanks to Joe Morgan, we are adding a great wine from Steelhead Vineyards and fans can now enjoy baseball while sipping a glass of wine without leaving their seats."

Morgan is the Senior Advisor to the Reds President of Baseball Operations. He was inducted into the Reds Hall of Fame in 1987 and the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1990.

Morgan will have a statue dedicated in his honor outside Great American Ball Park on Sept. 7.
