Final Days of Fans Eat Free; Gorman Thomas Bobble Head on Sunday, September 1

MILWAUKEE, WI - The Milwaukee Brewers begin a six-game homestand on Friday evening as they welcome the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to Miller Park for the final Interleague series of 2013, followed by a three-game set against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Promotional details for the homestand are included below:


The fans eat free promotion during the month of August will conclude on Saturday. However, fans may spend the vouchers during any of the remaining home games this season. All ticketed fans attending any Brewers home games in August will receive a $10 voucher for free concessions, merchandise and game tickets at Miller Park (only excluding Friday's Front Row, portable merchandise stands, Heavenly Roasted Nuts Portables, the Johnson Controls Stadium Club and All-Inclusive entertaining areas). Vouchers may be combined, meaning that fans attending with friends and family members, or those attending multiple games, can combine the vouchers for larger purchases.

▪ Brewers Community Foundation Drive for Charity:
Brewers Community Foundation invites fans to drop off any new or gently used winter wear (hats, scarves and gloves/mittens) during this weekend's Drive for Charity. Each fan who donates an item will receive a Jean Segura collectible pin. Donations will be accepted during the weekend series from gate opening through the second inning.
 
▪ Time Warner Cable Student Night: College and high school students can purchase $9 Terrace Reserved and $11.50 Loge Bleachers tickets (Excluding Miller Lite Beerpen) courtesy of Time Warner Cable. The first 250 students to redeem their tickets from Time Warner Cable Student Night Section 233 will receive a free t-shirt (free t-shirt does not apply to Obstructed View Section 233 tickets). Get one Terrace Reserved ticket to select Brewers games and one 2013 adult admission ticket to the Milwaukee County Zoo (valid through December 31, 2013; tickets not valid in conjunction with any other offer), plus a free Brew Crew & the Zoo beverage tumbler.
 
Saturday, August 31 vs. Los Angeles Angels, 6:10 p.m.

Sunday, September 1 vs. Los Angeles Angels, 1:10 p.m.
▪ Gorman Thomas Bobblehead presented by the Wisconsin National Guard:
All fans in attendance for Sunday's game will receive a bobblehead featuring Gorman Thomas in a 1969 Seattle Pilots uniform. Thomas was a first-round draft selection of the Pilots in 1969. Stormin' Gorman ranks among the all-time Brewers career leaders in several categories, including home runs (5th, 208), RBI (8th, 605) and extra-base hits (8th, 392). The Gorman Thomas bobblehead is sponsored by the Wisconsin National Guard.
 
▪ Blue Bunny Ice Cream Sunday: The first 2,000 fans 12 and under will receive a voucher redeemable for a free Blue Bunny Ice Cream treat upon entering Miller Park.

▪ Kids and Senior Citizens Discount Day: For weekday afternoon home games, kids 14 and under and seniors 60 and over receive up to a 50% savings on all seats except for Bernie's Terrace and the $1 Uecker Seats. Offer excludes all Marquee Games and All-Inclusive Areas.

▪ RBI Athlete of the Month:
The RBI program is a MLB youth baseball initiative and partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs. The program was developed by former scout and Major Leaguer John Young in Los Angeles in 1989 to provide youth ages 9 to 17 the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of baseball. Each month, the Milwaukee Brewers honor RBI student athletes on the diamond that portray dedication to academics, community involvement, leadership, reliability and monthly performance. Honorees are nominated by RBI coaches.
