Roster additions

The Pirates have recalled left-handed pitcher Kris Johnson (#60) from Triple-A Indianapolis and he is expected to start today's game against St. Louis at PNC Park.

The Pirates have also recalled outfielder Travis Snider from his rehab assignment and reinstated him from the 15-day D.L.

In addition, right-handed relief pitcher Kyle Farnsworth (#25) has been selected from Indianapolis.
