Seven-game homestand highlighted by Hispanic Heritage Night, Miguel Montero Bobblehad, Luchador Cape and four T-shirt giveaways

FAITH & FAMILY NIGHT presented by GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY: D-backs fans can enjoy a post-game concert by Jeremy Camp and a post-game testimonial from D-backs players. Several volunteers will partner with Kitchen on the Street to package boxes of food for kids in need from 4-7 p.m. just outside Chase Field at 4th Street and Jackson. ARIZONA LOTTERY CAR GIVEAWAY: Three finalists that participated in the Lottery’s Line Drive Deal at Fry’s will draw for the winning keys to a 2014 Ford Mustang from Sanderson Ford.

STATE FARM PITCH IN AWARD: The D-backs, in conjunction with Valley of the Sun United Way and State Farm, will recognize a local organization for its outstanding contributions to the Phoenix community.

PLAY BALL FUND: As a part of the on-going D-backs Give Back charitable efforts, the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation will recognize Play Ball grant recipients during a special pregame ceremony on the field. Throughout the season, the Play Ball Fund, supported by Chase and Western Refining, will award teams, leagues and organizations $1,000 in grants for equipment, training resources and more.  The D-backs will present up to 10 grants per month totaling $10,000. 

D-BACKS BASEBALL ACADEMY PLAYER, COACH & VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH: The D-backs Baseball Academy and Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation, with support from Western Refining and Chase, will recognize a Youth Player, Coach and Volunteer of the Month.   In addition to the on-field recognition, each winner receives a D-backs jersey, complimentary tickets and batting practice visit.  In addition, the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation awards a $500 grant to each winner’s team or league. 

GCU BASEBALL: The D-backs will recognize the 2013 Grand Canyon University baseball team on the field prior to the game. The team, led by former D-backs infielder Andy Stankiewicz, finished the season 40-19 and advanced to the NCAA Division II Baseball Championships for the first time in school history.

MILLER LITE FRIDAY NIGHTS: D-backs fans can enjoy happy hour drink specials and music with My 103.9 FM from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the Miller Lite Diamond Club. For more info, visit www.dbacks.com/happyhour.

HISPANIC HERITAGE DAY presented by BUDWEISER: Fans are encouraged to arrive early for a Street Festival, presented by APS, from 2-5 p.m. at the corner of 4th Street and Jackson. The Street Festival will include food trucks, music and a Lucha Libre match at 3:30 p.m., featuring the D-backs Luchador and Club Deportivo Coliseo. Mariachi and Folklorico dancers will perform throughout the stadium prior to the game. The team will wear Los D-backs jerseys that will be auctioned off online at www.dbacks.com/auctions. HISPANIC COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARD: The D-backs will present Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost for the Maricopa Community College Maria Harper-Marinick, PhD, with the Hispanic Community Leadership Award. Harper-Marinick will receive the award during a special pregame ceremony on the field. The award recognizes an individual for their advocacy, leadership and service to the Arizona community.

AGUILA YOUTH LEADERSHIP: The D-backs will recognize Rosemary Ybarra-Hernandez and Robert Hernandez from the Aguila Leadership Institute for their contributions in the Hispanic community, specifically helping guide high school students to college.  

BE A LEADER FOUNDATION: The D-backs will recognize Steve Calvario, Melissa Trujillo and Soilo Felix from the Be A Leader Foundation for their contributions in the Hispanic community, specifically helping guide high school students to college.

MIGUEL MONTERO CHECK PRESENTATION: Miguel Montero and the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation will present a check for $50,000 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix.  The donation will be used to renovate the playground at the Roanoke House in central Phoenix. 

BUDWEISER COMMUNITY CHECK PRESENTATION: The D-backs and Budweiser will present Si Se Puede with a $5,000 check for their efforts in the Hispanic community. 

JDRF WALK TO CURE DIABETES: The top ten kids who have raised the most money for the 2013 JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes will participate in a meet-and-greet with D-backs bench coach Alan Trammell and watch D-backs batting practice from the field.

CHOIR NIGHT: More than 3,000 local youth, ages high school and younger, will sing the national anthem from the warning track.

BOY SCOUTS & GIRL SCOUTS PARADE: Several Phoenix-area Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will participate in a pregame parade around the warning track and will be recognized on the field.

BARK IN THE PARK presented by PET CLUB: D-backs fans are encouraged to bring their dog to the game. Fans and their canines can enjoy a pregame Puppy Rally and a Puppy Parade around the warning track at Chase Field. The D-backs will donate $5 from every Bark in the Park ticket sold to the Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA. Fans must purchase tickets and register their dog at www.dbacks.com/barkinthepark.

BARROW CLEFT & CRANIOFACIAL CENTER AT ST. JOSEPH’S HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CENTER CHECK PRESENTATION: The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation will present a $10,000 check to the Barrow Cleft & Craniofacial Center to help support programs and patient care. Dr. Stephen Beals (Craniofacial Plastic Surgeon) and Dr. Patricia Glick (Craniofacial Orthodontist) will accept the check along with patients Charlotte Gould and John Radu. 

CHASE HOUSE AWARD: The D-backs will present U.S. Army Sergeant Will Haywood and former Marine Corps Sergeant Kevin English with keys to new homes in Glendale and Gilbert, courtesy of Chase, Military Warriors Support Foundation and Building Homes for Heroes. The D-backs will provide items of need for both veterans.

CHEVROLET TRUCK GIVEAWAY: The D-backs will select a winner of a brand new Chevy Silverado truck that has been on display at Chase Field throughout the season.

PHOENIX SWIM CLUB: The D-backs will recognize swimmers from the Phoenix Swim Club during a pregame ceremony on the field prior to the game. The swimmers will be recognized for their outstanding accomplishments throughout the summer swim season.

SUBWAY KIDS TAKE THE FIELD: Kids ages 7-15 can enter for the chance to “Take the Field” with D-backs players at every Sunday home game prior to the National Anthem. Entry forms are available at Subway.

SUNDAY SLUGGERS NO CHEW CREW SHOW presented by DELTA DENTAL: No Chew Crew Show, presented by Delta Dental, is free to children 15 and younger who pledge awareness of the harmful effects of spit tobacco. No Chew Crew members can enjoy a show with Baxter, hosted by Mike and Vanessa along with Bobby Freeman, from 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. in the Sandlot. No Chew Crew members receive a free ticket to every Sunday game and a toothbrush, courtesy of Delta Dental, when they pledge awareness of the harmful effects of spit tobacco. MILITARY AND FIRST RESPONDERS 50% OFF SUNDAYS: Every Sunday home game, the D-backs offer 50 percent off single-game ticket prices for all military active duty, reserve, retired and veterans, as well as active or retired fire and police personnel with valid ID. All-You-Can-Eat tickets are excluded from this offer and can only be redeemed for up to four tickets.

COLD STONE KIDS SUNDAYS: Each Sunday home game, one winner is selected to deliver the lineup card to the umpires with a D-backs coach before the game and deliver Cold Stone Ice Cream to the D-backs’ broadcast booths. TOMMY FITZGERALD MEMORIAM: The D-backs will present a team-signed jersey to the family of Tommy Fitzgerald during a special pregame ceremony on the field. Tommy, a native of Gilbert, Ariz., passed away a month ago at only 12 years old from a staph infection that was the result of a baseball injury.

FOX SPORTS BROADCAST FUNDRAISER TO BENEFIT PHOENIX CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL: The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and Fox Sports Arizona will team up during the television broadcast to raise money for Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Fans who call into the hotline and make a $44 donation during the game will receive a limited-edition Paul Goldschmidt keepsake print and two lower level tickets to a D-backs home game.

FOUNDATION EXECUTIVE COUNCIL: The D-backs will recognize members of the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation Executive Council during a special pregame ceremony on the field.

GRAND SLAM REVEAL FOR notMYkid: The D-backs will present notMykid with a check for $100,000 as part of the D-backs Grand Slam Grants.

D-BACKS SCHOOL CHALLENGE presented by UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX: The D-backs and University of Phoenix will give away $150,000 to benefit schools across Arizona. Thirty schools will be selected and will receive $5,000 to help improve their school. Deadline to apply is Sept. 30. Schools can apply for the grant online at www.dbacks.com/schoolchallenge.

MICHAEL WOGAN SEASON TICKET SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: The D-backs are now accepting nominations for the Michael Wogan Season Ticket Scholarship Program.  The scholarship is designed to award full or partial season tickets to D-backs fans going through financial or personal hardships. Since 2008, the D-backs have provided families experiencing financial hardships with more than 300 full season tickets for a value of more than $600,000.  The nomination form will be available at www.dbacks.com/stscholarship until 5:00 p.m. (MST) on November 25, 2013.

D-BACKS BASEBALL ACADEMY YOUTH CLINICS: D-backs Baseball Academy coaches will host two free clinics for kids at Futures Field located in the Sandlot at each D-backs home game starting one hour before first pitch and at the end of the fourth inning.
