Royals announce dates for 2014 FanFest
Club's Marquee offseason event moving to Kansas City Convention Center; event set for Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1
KANSAS CITY, MO (September 24, 2013) - The Kansas City Royals have announced that the 2014 Royals FanFest will take place Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1 at the Kansas City Convention Center's Bartle Hall.
Fans can celebrate the New Year in a big league way at Royals FanFest with autograph sessions featuring current and former Royals, interactive games for all ages, main stage programs and more. The club's 2013 Major League award winners will also be recognized during the event. In addition, ARAMARK and Royals Authentics will be on site selling the latest merchandise and unique Royals memorabilia, and special activities will be planned throughout the event at the Royals Diamond presented by Teva.
The 2014 FanFest will mark the first time the Royals are hosting the event at the Kansas City Convention Center. The downtown facility was also the site of the 2012 MLB All-Star FanFest, which drew nearly 120,000 during the five-day event in July 2012. The club will utilize spacious Bartle Hall, which features a main exhibition hall to give fans more room to view exhibits and enjoy the festivities.
As an added bonus, Royals 2014 season ticket holders will receive exclusive access on both days of the event before FanFest opens to the general public. Season ticket holders will receive an email with a link so they can purchase tickets including the exclusive access sessions.

Beginning today, fans may secure Royals FanFest tickets by visiting www.royals.com/fanfest. Tickets may also be purchased by calling (816) 504-4040 or visiting the Kauffman Stadium Box Office during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.). Online and phone orders are subject to applicable service fees. Royals season ticket holders should purchase online via the special link they will receive.
