NLDS Game 3 at Dodger Stadium tomorrow

The Los Angeles Dodgers will host game 3 of the NLDS at Dodger Stadium tomorrow at 5:07 p.m. against the Atlanta Braves (RHP Julio Teheran vs. LHP Hyun-Jin Ryu). All auto and stadium gates will open at 2:00 p.m. NLDS game 3 is sold out. The first 50,000 fans in attendance will receive a rally towel courtesy of Keck Medical Center of USC.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early, carpool and use public transit tomorrow. The Dodger Stadium Express will operate starting at 2:00 p.m. from Union Station to Dodger Stadium. Fans are encouraged to use the many transportation alternatives that serve Union Station that will connect them to the Dodger Stadium Express. 1981 and 1988 World Series champion and Dodger Spanish-language broadcaster Fernando Valenzuela will throw the ceremonial first pitch. In the 1981 postseason, Valenzuela went 3-1 in five starts with a 2.21 ERA with 26 strikeouts and 15 walks in 40⅔ innings. He had wins in the clinching Game 5 of the NLCS and in Game 3 of the World Series, a complete game against the New York Yankees, helping the Dodgers to their first World Championship since 1965. That same year, Valenzuela became the first player to win the Rookie of the Year Award and the Cy Young award in the same season.

Members of the Armed Forces along with first responders will unfurl a giant flag in center field prior to the national anthem. Southern California native and 18-year-old international recording artist Jessica Sanchez will sing the national anthem. Sanchez has appeared on "Glee" and is the runner up of "American Idol" season 11.

Compton native and Hip Hop artist Kendrick Lamar will officially start the game with "It's time for Dodger baseball!" Lamar has collaborated with several top artists including Dr. Dre, Game, Drake, Young Jeezy and Lil Wayne. His debut studio album good kid, m.A.A.d city was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The Veteran of the Game tomorrow is U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman Senior Chief Petty Officer Nguyen To, a native of Saigon, Vietnam. To enlisted in 1994 and served in Okinawa, Japan on board the USS Curtis Wilbur and at the Naval Hospital in Great Lakes, IL. He is currently serving onboard the USS Essex and is responsible for supervising 25 personnel and providing medical and dental service to a 1,000 sailors onboard the ship. To's accolades include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Navy Good Conduct Medal. 

Official 2013 Dodgers' postseason merchandise will be available starting tomorrow at all official team stores located throughout Dodger Stadium. Levy Restaurants will offer new items for NLDS games at Dodger Stadium. The Championship Sausage, a 14" sausage served with American cheese, shredded iceberg lettuce, diced red tomato, caramelized onions, Thousand Island dressing topped with shoe string fries and a pickle spear will be available at the Dodger Dog stands on the Field Level in section 48. The Playoff Dog, an all-beef Farmer John dog on a pretzel baguette topped off with hot pastrami with yellow mustard and a pickle spear, will be available at the Extreme Loaded Dogs stands on the Reserve and Loge levels and at the Dodgertown Deli on the Field Level. Levy Restaurants will offer two collectible postseason cups during the playoffs available throughout Dodger Stadium. Musical entertainment will also be provided at both Reserve Plaza locations tomorrow.

The NLDS edition of Dodgers Magazine features a celebratory cover of the Dodgers clinching the NL West title. The magazine includes stories on Andre Ethier, Adrian Gonzalez, Kenley Jansen, Clayton Kershaw and Juan Uribe. Members of the media approved with NLDS Credentials can pick up credentials in lot P starting at 1:00 p.m. Members of the media will be directed to park in their designated lot upon arrival at Gate A.
