Phillies announce three fan Road Trips for 2014

Fans Invited to Visit Iconic Steel City Over 4th of July Weekend Trips Also Head to San Fran & NYC

Bags are packed - ready to go? Because 2014 will bring three Phillies Fan Road Trips that are must-attend events!

Earlier today, the Phillies announced they will host three Road Trips during the 2014 regular season that will take fans to Pittsburgh to battle the Pirates over the July 4th holiday weekend (July 4-7); San Francisco for a west coast adventure against the Giants (August 14 -18); and to the Big Apple to take on the Mets (August 29 - September 1).

The fan trips, hosted by Greg "The Bull" Luzinski and Phillies' Director of Public Affairs, Scott Palmer, include deluxe hotel accommodations, tickets to each game, bus transportation, a ballpark tour, a city excursion, a custom merchandise item and a brunch with Phillies broadcasters. Round-trip airfare options are also available to San Francisco.

"We've been hosting fan trips for years and they get better every season," said Palmer. "Our passionate fan base is known around the league for being well-traveled and these trips make it easy and fun. What's better than travelling with fellow Phillies fans to see your Fightin' Phils play and experience exciting MLB cities?"

New destinations this year are Pittsburgh and New York. Luzinski added, "Pittsburgh and New York are great cities to explore. San Francisco is a great city, and AT&T Park is one of my favorites, aside from Citizens Bank Park of course. Also, the excursion to Alcatraz should make this trip even more memorable."

To make your reservations, visit www.phillies.com/PhilliesVacations or call Phillies Vacations at 1-877-833-7326. Fans are encouraged to book their trips as soon as possible as the trips are expected to sell out.
