Adam Eaton, Paul Konerko and Dayan Viciedo added to SoxFest 2014 lineup

Premium upgrade packages on sale tomorrow

CHICAGO - The Chicago White Sox announced an expanded list of current players scheduled to appear at SoxFest 2014, which now includes newly acquired outfielder Adam Eaton, Paul Konerko and Dayan Viciedo. White Sox prospect Micah Johnson, who hit .312 with 84 stolen bases in 131 games with Kannapolis, Winston-Salem and Birmingham in 2013, also will be participating in the weekend's events.  

They join Jose Abreu, Adam Dunn, Avisail Garcia, Erik Johnson, Nate Jones, Matt Lindstrom, Josh Phegley, Alexei Ramirez, Addison Reed and Marcus Semien, who all are scheduled to be at SoxFest.
 
SoxFest 2014 is sponsored by Miller Lite, Pepsi, Comcast SportsNet and WGN-TV and will be held Friday, January 24, Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26, 2014.

The special SoxFest rate for a two-night stay at the Palmer House Hilton is $278 (plus applicable taxes and fees, detailed on whitesox.com). Fans who purchase a two-night stay are eligible to also purchase up to four SoxFest weekend passes per room reservation.

The Chicago White Sox once again will offer fans a unique experience at SoxFest 2014 - the Premium Upgrade Package. The offering, a favorite among hundreds of SoxFest attendees, will be available for the seventh consecutive year. The upgrade package is available only to fans who have already purchased or will purchase the SoxFest hotel package and weekend pass(es) at the Palmer House Hilton. Packages go on sale tomorrow, December 12 at 10 a.m. on whitesox.com.

This year's Premium Upgrade Package ($200 per package, down from $225 last year) purchasers will receive a special SoxFest MVP pass that allows for three premium autographs without waiting in lines, access to a private autograph session, a private photo corner and a private seminar, as well as a number of other perks.

SoxFest hotel packages and weekend passes are available for purchase in the same transaction at whitesox.com. Weekend passes only are available for purchase by fans who book the two-night stay. Friday night of SoxFest is limited to those who purchase the two-night stay and weekend passes.

SoxFest offers fans the opportunity to meet their favorite former White Sox players, including past stars Ron Kittle, Carlos May, Minnie Minoso, Tom Paciorek, Gary Peters and Frank Thomas. Manager Robin Ventura also will be there, as well as pitching coach Don Cooper and new hitting coach Todd Steverson.
 
This is the eighth year the historic Palmer House Hilton will host the annual White Sox fan gathering, now in its 22nd year.
