A's Acquire OF Corey Brown from Washington
The Oakland Athletics have acquired outfielder Corey Brown from the Washington Nationals in exchange for cash considerations, the team announced today. The A's 40-man roster is now full at 40 players.
Brown batted .254 with 19 home runs and 56 RBI in 107 games with Triple-A Syracuse in 2013 en route to a September call-up with the Nationals, where he hit .167 with one home run and one RBI in 14 games.
