A's FanFest admission tickets sold out

Over 20,000 Fans Expected to Attend Event, Presented by Comcast SportsNet California

OAKLAND, Calif. - Admission tickets to A's FanFest this Saturday, February 8 are sold out, the team announced today. Over 20,000 fans are expected to attend the event, presented by Comcast SportsNet California.

Attendees for A's FanFest are expected to include manager Bob Melvin and his coaching staff; current players Yoenis Céspedes, Jesse Chavez, Ryan Cook, Coco Crisp, Josh Donaldson, Sean Doolittle, Chris Gimenez, Craig Gentry, Sonny Gray, John Jaso, Jim Johnson, Tommy Milone, Derek Norris, Eric O'Flaherty, Dan Otero, Jarrod Parker, Drew Pomeranz, Nick Punto, Eric Sogard, Dan Straily and Stephen Vogt; and former players from the A's 1974 and 1989 World Series champion teams, including Vida Blue, Ray Fosse, Gene Tenace, Dave Henderson and Tony Phillips.

Tickets to A's FanFest first went on sale Thursday, January 9. The event will feature free autograph sessions with current and former A's players, photo opportunities with players and the A's four World Series trophies, presented by Grant Thornton LLP; tours of the A's clubhouse; the Comcast SportsNet sportscaster experience; the first opportunity to sign up for the 2014 A's Kids Club; a memorabilia sale, with proceeds benefiting the A's Community Fund; various coaching clinics; and much more. Each of these events will be held at O.co Coliseum. Player introductions and question-and-answer sessions, meanwhile, will take place at Oracle Arena. The event will begin with the introductions at 10 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m.

Individual game tickets and season ticket packages will also be on sale at A's FanFest. Tickets can be purchased at the O.co Coliseum box office, online at www.oaklandathletics.com/tickets and over the phone by calling 877-493-BALL (2255). Individual tickets went on sale Friday, January 24.
