Royals, KSHB-TV Form Official Weather Partnership

The Station's Meteorologists will provide forecasts during Royals Games at Kauffman Stadium starting in 2014

KANSAS CITY, MO (February 24, 2014) - The Kansas City Royals and KSHB-TV, Kansas City's 41 Action News Station, announced today an official weather partnership. The multi-year agreement includes partnering on select community projects, as well as executing other strategic marketing opportunities.  

"We're pleased to be partnering with 41 Action News," said Michael Bucek, Royals Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. "Royals fans will have up-to-date weather information here at The K, and we look forward to working with KSHB/KMCI on additional marketing initiatives."

Chief Meteorologist Gary Lezak and the 41 Action News team of meteorologists will deliver their forecast to baseball fans on CrownVision, Kauffman Stadium's spectacular high-definition video board.   

"We are excited to share KC's Most Accurate Weather Forecast at every home game to help the Royals and the fans prepare for rapidly-changing weather conditions," said Lezak.
