Indians reduce spring roster by six (6) players

CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League Spring Training roster:

Optioned LHP SCOTT BARNES and LHP NICK HAGADONE to Triple-A Columbus.

Re-assigned RHP TRAVIS BANWART, RHP TYLER CLOYD, RHP J.C. RAMIREZ and LHP MIKE ZAGURSKI to Minor League camp.

The current roster reduction of the spring brings the total number of players in Major League camp to 46.
