Padres, Delaware North and Rimel's announce Petco Park location

The San Diego Padres, along with Delaware North Companies, Inc. and Rimel's Rotisserie today announced the San Diego-based eatery will open a Petco Park location for the 2014 baseball season. Rimel's Rooftop Grill will debut on Opening Night, Sunday, March 30. The restaurant will be located on the roof of the Western Metal Supply Co. Building in left field, a space which was previously only accessible to private groups, and will now be open to the public.

"We are proud to welcome another San Diego favorite to the Padres and Petco Park family," said Padres Vice President of Concessions and Retail Scott Marshall. "Rimel's Rooftop Grill is the centerpiece of many concessions enhancements we have made this offseason, thanks to a great partnership with DNC Sportservice. Rimel's healthy, delicious menu items will provide our fans with even more non-traditional ballpark concessions options."

"Delaware North is very excited to have Rimel's here at Petco Park," said DNC Sportservice's Petco Park General Manager Josh Pell. "The addition of mesquite smoked rotisserie chicken, grilled Mahi Mahi fish tacos, and Rimel's chicken & vegetable potstickers will offer an incredible experience on the Western Metal rooftop that fans won't want to miss."

Rimel's will work closely with Padres concessionaire DNC Sportservice to offer its signature dishes, including grilled Mahi Mahi tacos, steaming wok-seared rice bowls (choice of fish, chicken or vegetables), chicken and vegetable potstickers, and rotisserie chicken combos. Rimel's Rooftop Grill will serve the same high-quality meats, poultry, seafood and organic vegetables that patrons of Rimel's La Jolla, Cardiff and Del Mar locations have come to expect over the past 20 years.

More additions to the Petco Park concessions lineup for 2014 will be announced shortly.
