White Sox make six roster moves

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Following tonight's game at Class AA Birmingham, the Chicago White Sox made the following six roster moves:

• Reassigned C Hector Gimenez, INF Micah Johnson, INF Alex Liddi, RHP Zach Putnam, LHP David Purcey and OF Blake Tekotte to minor-league camp.

With the moves, the White Sox have 27 players remaining on the active roster: 12 pitchers, two catchers, nine infielders and four outfielders.

Chicago will make two additional roster moves prior to Opening Day vs. Minnesota.
