A's Recall RHP Josh Lindblom from Triple-A Sacramento
OAKLAND, Calif. - The Oakland A's recalled right-handed pitcher Josh Lindblom from Triple-A Sacramento, the club announced today.
Lindblom was recalled following the day game and will start the night game tonight against Cleveland. He went 0-2 with a 4.02 ERA in six games, including one start, with the A's this spring before he was optioned to Sacramento March 23. The 26-year old right-hander was acquired from Texas along with Craig Gentry for Michael Choice and minor leaguer Chris Bostick on December 3, 2013. Lindblom was 1-3 with a 5.46 ERA in eight games, including five starts, over three stints with the Rangers in 2013. He was also 8-4 with a 3.08 ERA in 20 games, 18 starts, with Triple-A Round Rock.
