April 4-9 "On The Rox" Highlights Rockies vs. Diamondbacks and White Sox

Friday, April 4, 2014 - Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Colorado Rockies, 2:10 p.m.

  • Opening Day at Coors Field: Festivities at Coors Field for the Home Opener will feature a traditional "America's Pastime" theme, with a parade around the warning track that pays tribute to all branches of the United States military. In addition, members of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard will present our nation's colors, while an oversized American flag is unfurled on the field by 150 uniformed personnel from the military, Denver Police and Fire Departments.
  • The Colorado Symphony Orchestra will perform the Star Spangled Banner and will later entertain the fans as the Rockies take the home field for the first time in 2014 with a live rendition of the new Rockies theme music, "Take the Field."
  • Third baseman Nolan Arenado and outfielder Carlos Gonzalez will be given their 2013 Rawlings Gold Gloves in a special pregame presentation.
  • All fans who attend today's game will receive a 2014 Colorado Rockies Magnet Schedule and a Frontier Airlines Promotions Card for 20% off an individual flight.

Saturday, April 5, 2014 - Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Colorado Rockies, 6:10 p.m.

  • Nolan Arenado Player Collectible Jersey: The first 15,000 fans will receive a purple, Nolan Arenado Player Collectible Jersey, presented by Toyota.
  • Michael Cuddyer, the 2013 National League Batting Champion, will be honored pregame with his Silver Slugger Award.

Sunday, April 6, 2014 - Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Colorado Rockies, 2:10 p.m.

  • "Batting Champ" Bobblehead Gnome: The first 15,000 fans through the gates will receive a special "Batting Champ" Bobblehead Gnome of Michael Cuddyer, presented by Wells Fargo.
  • Cuddyer's 2013 N.L. Batting Championship Award, the Silver Slugger bat, will be on display on top of The Rooftop for guests to pose and take pictures with.
  • Bike to the Game: Ride your bike to the game EVERY Sunday home game and check in at the Coors Field bike lot near Gate E for the chance to win prizes. Prizes include Rockies tickets, the chance to view Rockies Batting Practice from the field, autographed items and more.
  • Purchase a Green Pack to get two tickets to the game with $5 of each pack sold going toward the Green Fund and "Wood for Wood" program, planting a tree for every Rockies home run at Coors Field this season.

Monday, April 7, 2014 - Chicago White Sox vs. Colorado Rockies, 6:40 p.m. - PURPLE MONDAYS

  • Rockies Tee Shirt: The first 5,000 fans will receive a Purple "Win Lose, Rain Shine" t-shirt.
  • Coca-Cola Value Packs: Get four (4) tickets to the game, four (4) Hot Dogs, four (4) Coke Products, one (1) Parking Ticket, and one (1) Rockies Magazine. Lower Level tickets for $79 and Upper Level tickets for $59.
