The 11th annual Cleveland Indians Charities (CIC) High School Hardball Classic presented by Novacare Rehabilitation, featuring six area high school baseball teams, will be played at Progressive Field Friday, April 11.

The schedule is as follows:

8PM: Gilmour Academy vs. University School

Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance for $5 at the Progressive Field Box Office or Progressive Field Team Shop. Tickets can also be purchased on the day of the event for $7 each. All proceeds from the event will benefit Cleveland Indians Charities, which is celebrating its 26th year. (Rain date for this year's event is Sunday, April 13.)

Since 1989, CIC has donated nearly $10 million to youth-oriented agencies and organizations of Northeast Ohio, including a $1 million donation in April 2012 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland's "Save the Kids" campaign. Additionally, Cleveland Metropolitan School District high school baseball and softball programs are made possible due to the multi-million-dollar commitment from CIC.
