Indians recall RHP CC Lee

The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League roster:

Recalled RHP CHEN-CHANG LEE (#20) from Triple-A Columbus.

Optioned RHP VINNIE PESTANO to Triple-A Columbus.

Recalled RHP TREVOR BAUER (#47) from Triple-A Columbus for today's doubleheader against the San Diego Padres.

Lee, 27, will be making his second stint at the Major League level in 2014, spending one day with the club on April 2 as the "26th man". He has made two relief appearances for AAA Columbus thus far, going 0-0 with a 3.38 ERA (2.2IP, 1H, 1R/ER, 1BB, 4K, .100AVG).

Pestano posted a 13.50 ERA in 3 relief appearances for Cleveland (2.2IP, 8H, 6R/4ER) after opening the season on the Major League roster.

Bauer, 23, has made one start for the Clippers since his March 24 option out of spring training, going 6.0 innings on April 4 vs. Indianapolis in Huntington Park (ND, 6.0IP, 2H, 1R/ER, 2BB, 9K, .100AVG). Trevor will start Game 2 of today's doubleheader vs. San Diego and will be optioned back to Columbus after the game.
