White Sox announce upcoming series activities


WHAT: Chicago White Sox promotional highlights, giveaways and ceremonial first pitches for the upcoming series vs. Cleveland. Tickets for all four games of the series are available at whitesox.com, the U.S. Cellular Field ticket office and all Ticketmaster locations.
 
Thursday and Sunday's games will be televised on Comcast SportsNet Chicago. WCIU-TV will broadcast Friday's game, while WGN-TV will broadcast Saturday's game. All four games will air on WSCR-AM 670 (The Score), the White Sox flagship radio station, and 97.5 FM ESPN Deportes, the White Sox Spanish-language radio affiliate.

National Anthem by Three Men in Kilts
Ceremonial first pitch by valued season-ticket holder Cliff Toberman

Three Men in Kilts, a traditional Irish band from Chicago's South Side, will sing the National Anthem.

"K Zone For Sale"

Ceremonial first pitch by Home Plate Club member Kyle Davis on behalf of Gensler

"K Zone For Sale" is a new ballpark promotion in Section 154. When White Sox ace Chris Sale starts at home, fans with tickets in Section 154 will receive a free K-Zone t-shirt and K-card at the #SoxSocial Lounge. "K Zone For Sale" tickets are $20 for most games, with the exception of Family Sundays, when the tickets are $15 (pricing also different in the section for Crosstown Classic games).

Giveaway: 1983 White Sox Fleece Blanket (first 20,000 fans)
National Anthem by White Sox anthemist Gerald Chaney
Ceremonial first pitch by Girl Scout Junior Aleksandra Sheridan and a representative on behalf of Magellan

Aleksandra Sheridan, a ten-year-old New Lenox (Ill.) resident, will be throwing out a ceremonial first pitch. She is a Girl Scout Junior, who recently received the Girl Scouts of the USA's Lifesaving Award and Medal of Honor for saving her mother's life during a diabetic emergency.


Sunday, April 13, 1:10 p.m. vs. Cleveland
Family Sunday, presented by The University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital
National Anthem by Thomas Hart Middle School Band
Ceremonial first pitch by a Magellan Scouts Seats member Phil Nussbaum on behalf of Performance Trust

Family Sunday, presented by The University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital, includes free pregame autograph sessions and postgame kids run the bases. Tickets are available for as low as $5 in the Upper Level and $15 in Lower Level, with $10 parking. Additional entertainment includes face painters, balloonists, a caricature artist, magnet art and a photo opportunity with the White Sox Broadcast Dashers.

Thomas Hart Middle School Band from Pleasanton, Calif., will perform the National Anthem. As part of the trip, Hart's band will be helping at-risk Chicago students attend the game through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago and Mercy Home for Boys and Girls.
