Join the Tigers on Saturday, May 10 as we honor the third-winningest manager in franchise history, Jim Leyland in a special pre-game, on-field ceremony prior to the Tigers 1:08 p.m. game against the Minnesota Twins.
Leyland led the club for eight seasons (2006-13), taking them to the postseason four times during his managerial career, including three-straight American League Central Division Crowns (2011-13), two American League pennants (2006, 2012) and two World Series Appearances. He is the only manager in franchise history to lead the Tigers to the postseason four times.
Following the ceremony, Leyland will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
