Twins Minor Leaguer Hinojosa suspended

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Minnesota Twins Minor League infielder Jonatan Hinojosa has received a 50-game suspension without pay after testing positive for metabolites of Nandrolone, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program in effect prior to the recent changes to the Program.

The suspension of Hinojosa, who is currently on the roster of Single-A Cedar Rapids of the Midwest League, is effective immediately.
