Beyoncé and JAY Z to play Safeco Field July 30

"ON THE RUN TOUR: BEYONCÉ AND JAY Z" will be ballpark's second major concert

Beyoncé and JAY Z are bringing their "On the Run" stadium tour to Seattle for a Wednesday, July 30 concert at Safeco Field. It will be the second major concert at the ballpark after Paul McCartney's sold-out show on July 19, 2013. The announcement of the tour was made earlier today by Live Nation Entertainment.

Beyoncé and JAY Z will begin their 16 stadium U.S. tour on June 25 in Miami and end on August 6 in San Francisco. Tickets for "ON THE RUN TOUR: BEYONCÉ AND JAY Z" go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 2 through the Live Nation mobile app at livenation.com.

Premium Packages

The Mariners are offering premium concert packages that include tickets, food and private cash bar for $250 per seat in the All-Star Club and Press Box Club. Private Suites are also available for groups of 20 or more. Information about packages, locations and suite pricing is available by calling 206-346-4001.

The historic first-ever major concert at Safeco Field was July 19, 2013, when over 45,000 fans gathered for the sold-out Paul McCartney "Out There" tour date. A protective surface was placed over the grass so that the stage could be setup in center field with reserved seating on the field and in the seating bowl. A similar layout and capacity is expected for the Beyoncé and JAY Z concert (diagram at right).
