SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS vs. ATLANTA BRAVES (May 2-4)

Friday, May 2 at 7:35 p.m.

  • Heritage Weekend pregame ceremony:  The Braves will honor the 2014 recipients of the Hank Aaron Champion for Justice Award winners in a pregame ceremony. The recipients are:  Joe Barry Carroll, retired NBA All-Star; Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Olympic gold medalist in track and field;Edwin Moses, Olympic gold medalist in track and field; Reverend C.T. Vivian, civil rights leader and recent recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
  • Braves Strike Out Hunger Fridays presented by Kroger: The Braves will host a food drive prior to every Friday home game during the 2014 season to benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Fans can donate 20 cans of food or $20 at the Strike Out Hunger Tent in Monument Grove and will receive an autograph from a Braves player or alumni member. Limit of one signature per donation. Fans will have the opportunity to get an autograph from Braves Alum Mark Wohlers in Monument Grove pregame from 6:35-7:00 p.m.  For a list of upcoming Braves alumni or players confirmed to sign for "Strike Out Hunger" visit braves.com/SOH.
  • Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Georgia Lottery: Enjoy the Braves game and a spectacular fireworks show set to music following every Braves Friday home game.

Saturday, May 3 at 7:10 p.m.

  • Heritage Weekend:  The Braves will honor former Negro League members in a pregame ceremony and will don throwback uniforms from the Atlanta Black Crackers. The San Francisco Giants will wear jerseys from the former Negro League team the San Francisco Sea Lions.
  • Postgame concert presented by Coca-Cola and Delta Air Lines:  Kool and the Gang will perform a free postgame concert (with the purchase of a game ticket).

Sunday, May 4 at 1:35 p.m.

  • Braves alumni Ryan Klesko, Jeff Treadway and Wes Helms are scheduled to appear pregame to greet fans and sign autographs.

  • Hometown Hero: The Braves will honor and pay tribute to a local "Hometown Hero" from the United States Military.
  • Kids Run The Bases: Presented by Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, the Braves invite all kids 14 and under to run the bases after every regular season Sunday home game. Just meet at the Hank Aaron ramp at aisle 129 on the Field Level.
