DETROIT - The Tigers return home on Monday, May 5 to begin a seven-game homestand against the Astros and Twins at Comerica Park. First pitch for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's contests versus the Astros are at 7:08 p.m. and the series concludes with a 1:08 p.m. start on Thursday. Friday night's game against the Twins will begin at 7:08 p.m. and first pitch for Saturday and Sunday's games will be at 1:08 p.m.

Monday, May 5 vs. Houston Astros at 7:08 p.m. Gates Open at 5:00 p.m.

• The ceremonial first pitches will be thrown out by Detroit Lions safety, Glover Quin, U.S. Speedskating Olympian Kelly Gunther, and University of Michigan Men's Basketball player, Nik Stauskas.
• The national anthem will be performed by Caleb Gutierrez, lead singer of The Infatuations, recent winners of several Detroit Music Awards.
• Mario's MVP Program: Each Monday home game during the 2014 season, Tigers broadcaster, Mario Impemba invites 30 Veterans of all eras and the families impacted by the loss of a loved one in support of our nation, to come down to the ballpark on the FOX Sports Detroit Fan Express and enjoy a Tigers game. Each Veteran or family member is given a special "MVP" t-shirt, game ticket and food voucher thanks to Mario Impemba and the Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities. Guests from 414th Civil Affairs Battalion of the United States Army will attend the game on May 5 and will have the opportunity to meet Impemba prior to the game at the FOX Sports Detroit stage in the Brushfire Grill at 5:40 p.m.
• Cinco De Mayo Celebration: As part of the Tigers Cinco de Mayo Celebration there will be live entertainment on the concourse from 5-7 p.m. near the Big Cat Court (behind Section 119) and Brushfire Grill (behind Section 131). Also as a part of the celebration, the Tigers sold Special Edition Cinco de Mayo t-shirt sold as a part of the new ¡Arriba Tigres! program. A portion of the proceeds from the Cinco de Mayo package will benefit the Centro Multicultural La Familia in Pontiac, MI. Cinco de Mayo is the first of several fundraising dates as part of the ¡Arriba Tigres! program which was designed to partner with organizations that benefit the Hispanic and Latino communities of Michigan.
• Game Ball Delivery: During select home games, the Tigers invite a member of the Armed Forces currently serving a tour of duty or recently returned from deployment to deliver the game ball to the pitcher's mound. Tonight's game ball will be delivered by Petty Officer Second Class E-5 Daulton Hurst of the United States Navy from Holly, Michigan.
• In-Park All-Star Balloting: The time is now to vote your favorite Tigers players into the 2014 All-Star Game at Target Field. Beginning today, fans will have the opportunity to vote in-park as well as online for the All-Star Game. Prior to the game a Kids Club Member will cast the ceremonial first ballot to kick-off the Tigers in-park All-Star voting. Tuesday, May 6 vs. Houston Astros at 7:08 p.m. Gates Open at 5:00 p.m.

• The ceremonial first pitches will be thrown out by the star of "Defending the Caveman", Vince Valentine and The Samurai from the current Detroit Institute of Arts exhibit "Samurai: Beyond the Sword."
• The national anthem will be performed by country vocalist Julianne Ankley, recent winner of the Outstanding Country Songwriter Award from the Detroit Music Awards.

Wednesday, May 7 vs. Houston Astros at 7:08 p.m. Gates Open at 5:00 p.m.

• The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out by former "Hardcore Pawn" and "Meltdown" star, Rich Pyle.

Thursday, May 8 vs. Houston Astros at 1:08 p.m. Gates Open at 11:00 a.m.

• Space Day: Prior to the Tigers game, more than 3,000 students and educators will be treated to a lesson about the universe and galaxy from educators from the Michigan Science Center and NASA Astronaut Dr. Michael Massimino. Massimino will share his experiences from his trips to outer space to service the Hubble Telescope, and will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. • Gang Resistance Education and Training (G.R.E.A.T) Day: The Tigers were the first professional sports team to commit to the G.R.E.A.T in 1994. Now in its 20th year, the Tigers will welcome 875 Detroit Area middle school students from the 13-week program to Comerica Park to celebrate their achievements in avoiding destructive behaviors. Prior to the game, Tigers manager, Brad Ausmus will meet with 40 select students to discuss the importance of the G.R.E.A.T. program. The partnership between G.R.E.A.T and the Tigers will be recognized in a special pre-game on-field ceremony prior the game at 1:08 p.m.
• Aquafina School Incentive Days: During six select games this season, the Tigers and Aquafina will host over 10,000 students from local schools to reward them for being a member of their school's safety patrol or having perfect attendance for a marking period. On May 8 as part of the School Incentive and Reward Program, 1,000 orange bucket hats will be given away to students, courtesy of Aquafina.  

Friday, May 9 vs. Minnesota Twins at 7:08 p.m. Gates Open at 5:00 p.m.

• The first 10,000 fans to enter Comerica Park will receive a Miguel Cabrera Three-Time American League Batting Champion Trophy, courtesy of Pepsi.
• Fourth Annual Zubazpalooza: For the fourth year, the Tigers are offering a special ticket package for stripe-enthusiasts during Zubazpalooza. Each ticket package comes with your choice of Zubaz pants or a t-shirt, a game ticket and entrance to an exclusive party at the Labatt Blue Jungle where you can mingle with other Zubaz lovers and win great prizes from Zubaz representatives. • Detroit Tigers Foundation 50/50 Raffle: The Detroit Tigers Foundation 50/50 Charity Raffle returns to Comerica Park this season at every Friday and Saturday home game. The partner charity for this weekend's 50/50 raffle is the Little Caesars Amateur Sports Foundation, which supports youth sports programs in Greater Detroit. Raffle tickets are available from the time gates open until the last out of the sixth inning. Tickets will be sold on a digital platform for the first time, and are three for $5, 10 for $10 and 40 for $20. The winner will be announced on the Comerica Park scoreboard before the end of the game.
• Tonight's game ball will be delivered by Specialist Danny Potter Jr, of the Michigan Army National Guard from St. Louis Michigan.

Saturday, May 10 vs. Minnesota Twins at 1:08 p.m. Gates Open at 11:00 a.m.

• Tribute to Jim Leyland: Prior to the game, the Tigers will honor the third-winningest manager in franchise history in a special pre-game, on-field ceremony at Comerica Park. The former skipper will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. Be sure to be in your seats by 12:40 p.m. so you don't miss a minute of this special ceremony.
• The first 10,000 fans to enter Comerica Park on Saturday, May 10 will receive a 2014-15 Wall Calendar, courtesy of Red Robin.
• Pre-Game On-Field Clinic: From 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. fans are welcomed onto the playing field at Comerica Park for a special pre-game clinic featuring Tigers players. Fans will choose a station and Tigers players and coaches will rotate among the stations giving fans tips on hitting, infield defense, pitching and catching. The clinic is weather permitting and sponsored by Red Robin. Autographs are not permitted.

Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11 vs. Minnesota Twins at 1:08 p.m. Gates Open at 11:00 a.m.

• Mother's Day: All Moms and Kids 14-and-under will receive a special Mother's Day Picture Frame, courtesy of Little Caesars. Plus, the first 500 families to visit the Fan Foto display in the FOX Sports Detroit Brushfire Grill will receive a free Mother's Day branded photo to place in their new frame. Upon entry to the ballpark, 500 moms will be invited to participate in special on-field recognition during the singing of the national anthem.
• Mother's Day Ticket Package: Celebrate Mother's Day at Comerica Park and support the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure by purchasing this special ticket package. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the 23rd Susan G. Komen Detroit Race For The Cure on June 7 at Chene Park on Detroit's riverfront. • Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer: Major League Baseball and the Detroit Tigers have partnered with Komen for the Cure to go to bat against breast cancer. The Tigers donated 1,000 tickets to breast cancer survivors, volunteers and their families from the Detroit Race for the Cure to attend the Mother's Day game. More than 150 breast cancer survivors will be invited onto the field and recognized prior to the national anthem. In addition, the Tigers winner from Major League Baseball's Honorary Bat Girl contest to recognize inspirational fans that have been affected by breast cancer will be honored prior to the start of the game and will throw a ceremonial first pitch. During the game, players from both clubs will use pink bats, and all baseballs will have pink stitching.
• Pink Bats and Baseballs for Sale for a Cause: Detroit Tigers Authentics has available a limited number of signed pink bats and baseballs by Tigers personnel Torii Hunter, Alex Avila, Ian Kinsler, Austin Jackson, Joe Nathan and Omar Vizquel. The bats sell for $300, while the signed baseballs will sell for $150. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit.
