Feld Motor Sports announces new venue partnership with Petco Park in San Diego

San Diego, CA (Friday, May 2, 2014) - Feld Motor Sports®, a division of Feld Entertainment, the world leader in specialized arena and stadium-based motor sports entertainment, announced today a new venue partnership with Petco Park. The home of the San Diego Padres will become the San Diego venue to host the Monster Jam® and Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, events beginning with the 2015 season (events were previously held at Qualcomm Stadium).

Event schedule for the 2015 motor sports season at Petco Park will include:

• Monster Jam - Saturday, January 17, 2015
• Monster Jam - Saturday, January 31, 2015
• Monster Energy Supercross - Saturday, February 7, 2015

Tickets for both San Diego events will be going on sale July 12, 2014. Tickets will be available to purchase online at Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, charge by phone at 800-745-3000 or in-person at the Petco Park Box Office.

To transform the ballpark into a specialized motor sports venue, Feld Motor Sports' track construction crew will bring in more than 7,500 tons of locally sourced dirt into the stadium, while working with Petco Park groundskeepers to ensure the field is on track to be ready for baseball in advance of MLB's Opening Day.
