The San Francisco Giants and AT&T Mark 10-Year Anniversary of Community All-Star Grants

The Giants and AT&T are celebrating the 10^th anniversary of their Community All-Star program. Since 2005, the Giants and AT&T have awarded $10,000 grants, totaling half-a-million dollars, to non-profit organizations who best exemplify AT&T's and the Giants' shared values of community service. Grant recipients have included food banks, youth sports organizations, violence prevention groups, education partners, homeless agencies, children's advocates and many others providing essential programs and services to the San Francisco Bay Area and greater Northern California communities.

Each year, the grant recipients are honored at a dinner held at AT&T Park which is attended by Giants players and alumni and AT&T customers and executives. This year's grantees include the Say Hey Foundation; Athletes in Math Succeed; Generation Alive; Good Tidings Foundation; and St. Anthony's. Each of these organizations will receive a $10,000 grant and have a special connection to Giants alumni and players, including Hall of Famer Willie Mays and current Giants players Sergio Romo, Jeremy Affeldt, Ryan Vogelsong and Javier Lopez.

Our shared commitment to the community enables the Giants and AT&T to provide critical support to those most in need," said Larry Baer, Giants president and chief executive officer.
