Indians activate INF Carlos Santana from 7-day DL

CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League roster:

Activated INF CARLOS SANTANA from the 7-day Disabled List.

Optioned INF JESUS AGUILAR to AAA Columbus.

Santana has been on the 7-day Disabled List with concussion-like symptoms since May 26 after taking several foul balls off his catcher's mask on May 25 in Baltimore. Over his last four games prior to the DL-stint he was 4-for-12 with 5 runs scored, a homer, 4RBI and 6 walks and on the season he is hitting .159 (28-176) with 7doubles, 6 homers and 17 RBI in 50 games.

The Indians currently have three players on the Disabled List (OF Nyjer Morgan, INF Nick Swisher, RHP Zach McAllister).
