Blue Jays roster moves

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have selected the contract of OF BRAD GLENN from Buffalo of the International League (AAA) and optioned OF KEVIN PILLAR to the Bisons. To make room on the 40-man roster, INF JONATHAN DIAZ has been designated for assignment.

GLENN, 27, has appeared in 30 games (RF-18/LF-7/DH-5) at the AAA level with Buffalo, batting .381 with eight doubles, four home runs and 22 RBI, including 12 multi-hit games. The Cedartown, Georgia native began the season in New Hampshire (AA) where he recorded a .235 average with seven doubles, five home runs and 14 RBI in 36 contests. Over six minor league seasons, the Blue Jays 23rd round pick in 2009 has a .260 career average, with 101 home runs and 365 RBI in 591 games.
