Andrew McCutchen 2013 N.L. MVP Bobblehead Highlights Pirates Seventh Homestand

The Pirates return to PNC Park from a six-game road trip to host the New York Mets, Arizona Diamondbacks, and the Philadelphia Phillies. This homestand will be highlighted by Faith Night and Zambelli Fireworks at PNC Park on Thursday, June 26; Andrew McCutchen 2013 National League MVP bobblehead on Saturday, June 28; and Team PhotoFest on Sunday, June 29.

Thursday, June 26, 2014 - Pirates vs. New York Mets (7:05 p.m.)

  • Zumba on Federal: The Pirates will host Zumba Night from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. on Federal Street with Latin Rhythmz and Oxford Athletic Club leading a class outside PNC Park.   • MVP Cutch Bobblehunt: The Pirates are placing Andrew McCutchen MVP bobbleheads all over the city and releasing clues on the team's twitter account (@Pirates) throughout the day as to where they can be found. Some are autographed by the reigning MVP and all winners will also receive 2 tickets to tonight's game.
  • Zambelli Fireworks Night: Fans are encouraged to stay in their seats immediately following the game and enjoy an amazing fireworks display presented by Zambelli Fireworks International, courtesy of Highmark.
  • Faith Night: Bring your family, friends and church to Faith Night at PNC Park, presented by Chick-fil-A, for a memorable experience filled with fun and fellowship! Friday, June 27, 2014 - Pirates vs. New York Mets (7:05 p.m.) Heritage Weekend Celebration

  • Community Champion Awards: As part of the Pirates 2014 Heritage Weekend Celebration, the Pirates will present the "Pittsburgh Pirates Community Champion Awards" in a pre-game ceremony on the field at PNC Park. Area individuals who are "champions" of their communities and have positively contributed to the betterment of the diverse community in our region were chosen by an independent panel of judges. Winners of the 2014 Community Champion Awards are: Dr. Yinka Aganga-Williams, Phyllis Comer, Larry Jones, Keith Key, La'Tasha Mayes, and Michael Morris.
  • Friday Block Party: Tonight is another Friday Block Party on Federal Street. Fans will enjoy live music, featuring House of Soul, and can party on the street with food and beer sales. Pirates alumni Omar Moreno will be the special guest bartender at the Budweiser Bar that will be located on Federal Street.

Saturday, June 28, 2014 - Pirates vs. New York Mets (4:05 p.m.)

  • MVP Bobblehead: Today the first 25,000 fans will receive an Andrew McCutchen National League MVP bobblehead courtesy of Allegheny Health Network.
  • Heritage Night: Today the Pirates and Mets will pay tribute to the Negro Leagues with a special Negro League Heritage Game. Each team will wear Negro League uniforms, with the Pirates honoring the Pittsburgh Crawfords and the Mets the Brooklyn Royal Giants.
  • Josh Gibson Scholarships: Today in a pre-game ceremony, the Pirates and the Josh Gibson Foundation will award two student scholarships in the amount of $2,000 for continuing education. Tonight's recipients are Shelton Claybourn of Pittsburgh Carrick High School who will attend Duquesne University in the fall and Amber Liggett of Lincoln Park Performing Arts who will attend Millersville University in the fall.
  • Saturday Block Party: Today is a Saturday Block Party as fans will enjoy food and beer sales on Federal Street as Pirates alumni Omar Moreno will be the special guest bartender at the Budweiser Bar.

Sunday, June 29, 2014 - Pirates vs. New York Mets (1:35 p.m.) Kids Day

  • Team PhotoFest: Come to PNC Park early today for Team PhotoFest. All fans with a ticket to today's game may enter the Trib Total Media Home Plate Gate starting at 10:30 a.m., and will then be directed onto the warning track of PNC Park. Pirates players and coaches will on the field for a photo opportunity with fans. No autographs will be permitted. You MUST have a ticket to today's game to participate.
  • Boy Scout Day: Boy Scout Day is a celebration of area Boy Scouts and their families & friends while enjoying a day of Bucco baseball! Participating Scouts will receive a Pittsburgh Pirates Boy Scout Patch. To purchase tickets visit pirates.com/boyscouts.
  • Kids Player Poster: Kids 14 and younger will receive a Neil Walker poster, presented by PPG Industries.

  • ALS Day: Today the Pirates will partner with The ALS Association of Western PA, ALS TDI, MDA, Live Like Lou and MLB to recognize Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) Day with on-field guests and an in-park video to be played during a special pregame ceremony.
  • Tip of the Cap: Today the Pirates and Phillies will wear specially designed stars and stripes caps in honor of Independence Day.

Military Ticket Discount
The Pirates are proud to team up with GovX.com to offer discounted tickets to active-duty, reserve, veteran, and retired service members and their families. All season long military members are invited to save up to $10 per ticket on select seats at PNC Park. Tickets are available now at pirates.com/military and a valid active-duty, reserve, retired, dependent or DOD employee ID card is required for ticket window purchases.

College Student Discount
For select games during the 2014 season, students with a valid college email address will receive a special discount off the advance ticket price of select games. To receive the code, college students may simply fill out the form at pirates.com/student. Each code is valid for up to fourteen tickets.

Dynamic Pricing Section
The Pirates popular dynamic pricing system is back in 2014 and includes both the Bleacher Reserve and Upper Bleacher Reserve sections of PNC Park. Tickets for the 2,400 seats, located in left field, will be placed on sale 10-days prior to each home game. The initial ticket price will then be adjusted- both lower and higher- in real time, based on several factors.
